Description

The beneftis fro Geoscience data are timeless, because as new geological and engineering concepts evolve, and as new analytical techniques are developed, there is a constant need to go back and re-examine data. Geoscience holdings at the Kentucky Geological Survey (KGS) are og great value to industry and research. It provides solutions to scientific, economic, and environmental issues and potentially to natural disasters. Collection, inventory, and preservation of Geoscience data today will encourage greater utilization for research and development, and will lower exploration cost while increasing efficiency and safety for both present and future generations.
