Raul Villanueva – Abstract Title: Control of Hemp Russet Mites in Hemp IR-4 received a request to help identify efficacious pesticides to control mites in hemp (≤ 0.3% THC content). The objective of this trial is to assess the efficacy and crop safety of a variety of conventional and biological miticides on hemp russet mites infesting hemp plants under field and greenhouse (GH) conditions. The goal is to generate data to support registration of efficacious and safe pesticides for use on this specialty crop.
