Description
OBJECTIVES: 1) Review available technologies for compaction control. 2) Conduct controlled
laboratory and field trials to evaluate the technologies available. 3) Select trial construction projects
to evaluate the feasibility of using various technologies for routine quality control. 4) Evaluate the
ease of use and implementation potential for each technology. 4) Review potential specification
changes relating changes in permitted equipment.
