Description
Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, as the administrator of federal funds provided through the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provision of the Library Services and Technology Act, will provide grant funds to the University of Kentucky Library School for an internship to a graduate student. The student will work in KDLA's Kentucky Guide Program to catalog archival materials and to provide access to archival materials through the use of the catalog in the Archives Research
Room. The student will work 15 hours per week during the fall 2004and spring 2005and 37.5 hours during the 2004 and 2005 summers at a rate of pay of $8.50 per hour. The intern will work under the supervision of the Archival Services Branch Manager at KDLA.
