Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Summary The KIRP program is requesting $703,356 from Vital Strategies to purchase 12 mobile units to expand services throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky through the Mobile Services Program (MSP). The MSP will allow the KIRP program to expand screening, comprehensive education, and linkage to care for persons at highest risk for contracting and transmitting HIV and Hepatitis C; distribution of prevention and harm reduction supplies, education materials, and Naloxone to at-risk persons; and connecting participants to programs providing services for HIV, PrEP/nPEP, and Hepatitis C medical care, as well as mental health and substance abuse counseling.
