Description

SCOPE OF WORK: The University of Kentucky will provide technical support through the Kentucky Geological Survey for water quality surveys at the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center, Artemus Training Site, and Eastern Kentucky Training Site. In accordance with hydrogoeological survey guidelines from the National Guard Bureau, this project will augment and extend the implementation of a long-term water-quality monitoring program for surface water and groundwater inside and adjacent to these sites. Water-quality data, mapping and hydrogeologic information will continue to be integrated into a Geographic Information System database. A topographic survey will be conducted to ensure georeferencing of GIS coverages and themes at all sites. CONTRACTED EMPLOYEES WILL USE A STATE OR UNIVERSITY APPROVED VEHICLE IN THE COURSE OF EMPLOYMENT.
