Description

The Kentucky Deaf-Blind Project (KDBP) works in collaboration with LEAs to provide training and technical assistance to education teams serving low incidence students statewide; with particular emphasis on training paraprofessionals at the tertiary level of Response to Intervention (RTI). KDBP will work in collaboration with the UK personnel preparation program on Blindness/Visual Impairments to facilitate practicum experiences for teachers so they can improve their knowledge and skills specific to addressing the needs of students who have multiple disabilities, such as assessment of learning needs including Universal Access through technology
