rhe vendor will pay tor part of the costs of 1he Deaf Blind Services 51818 Coordinator and for iii Technical Assistance Coordinator. They will provide training and technical assistance f(Ir LEA staff. The state coordinator of the project is responsible for overseeing all aC1lv1tles of the federal 307.11 grant includIng the day to day budget and personnel. This includes statewide training and tecbl'lical assistance on behalf of the 172 students on Kentucky's Deaf-Blind Census. their families and members of their eduC$tlon learns. All training acllvities are open to include students in all of Kentucky's classrooms who are considered to have severe and/or multiple disabilities including deaf-blindness. This nl,lmber exceeds 3,000. The Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator is responsible for delivering direct technical assistencl~ to students in the eastern half of our state as well as coordinatolng all statewide training activities sponsored by this projel;t.
