Description
Abstract
Inequities in education, employment and health outcomes for people with disabilities
have long been pervasive issues in Kentucky. This initiative will use higher
education as a lever to build leadership opportunities for students with disabilities
and build capacity through pre-professional training of public health students in
higher education.
Scope of Work
The project will work with stakeholders and subject matter experts who will assist
in development and delivery of information that will be shared with campus
communities. Information sharing will address public health issues related to health
care and mental health care, access to employment from higher education, and
COVID and vaccine hesitancy.
