Description
The Kentucky Geological Survey 2019 Data Preservation project proposes several objectives. These are:
1) Reconcile physical samples from auger drilling with the KGS database along with label and store samples in the KGS Earth Analysis Research Library.
2) Scan, catalog, and disseminate a backlog of paper maps housed at KGS.
3) Enter into the KGS database lithologic data from scanned water well documents and disseminate these records through the KGS website.
