The University of Kentucky Center on Trauma and Children will work with the Kentucky Department of Education provide training and support for educators and mental health professionals on trauma informed practices as part of the Kentucky AWARE 2 grant project. UK CTAC will provide training and support for educators and mental health professionals on trauma informed practices as part of the Kentucky AWARE 2 grant. UK CTAC will ensure fidelity and strengthen the district's framework as we move toward a Multi-tiered System of Support inclusive of mental health and trauma related supports. Goals/Deliverables: *Provide Trauma-Informed Care for Educators (TICE) training statewide and in the 3 partner LEA by providing 3 learning collaboratives that include trainees from all regions of the state. *Develop and evaluate a TIC Training for Senior Leaders (school superintendents, principals ,etc.) in Year 1 for delivery to senior leaders in at least 80 school districts over the 5 year grant cycle. *Conduct an annual training needs assessment for school- and community-based MH professionals in the 3 partner LEAs to determine professional development priorities. *Provide training in trauma-specific, evidence-based treatments (i.e., TARGET or CBITS) to community- and school-based MH professionals in the 3 partner LEAs and expand these offerings statewide. *To enhance the sustainability of Trauma-Informed practices and TI-EBPs planted during Kentucky AWARE I and AWARE II cycles in schools, CTAC will develop a TIC Peer Support Network, to include veteran trainees and regional consultants from AWARE I partnered with new trainees from AWARE II to share resources and support continued implementation.
