Description

The Kentucky State Office of Rural Health shall: 1. Partner with all safety net providers, including but not limited to the Primary Care Association, Area Health Education Centers, Primary Care Office, and the Kentucky Rural Health Association, to implement a rural health journal. 2. Provide the rural health journal that shall contain newsworthy stories and information relelvant to rural health matters in Kentucky and nationally. SORH shall collaborate with the Health Care Access Branch to determine a launch date after planning has been completed. 3. The SORH in partnership with the safety net partners will develop a plan to make the "rural health journal" financially self-sustaining within the next 2 years. 4. All "rural health journal" publications shall include a notice that this item was partially paid for through federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Primary Care Office grant funds.
