Description
This proposal seeks to further bolster the
ground station facilities in Kentucky by providing a complete backup in case of failure of
the main UK station. Recent wind and ice storms have shown that even the most robust
ground station is vulnerable. This modest investment will greatly improve the reliability
of the Kentucky Space ground station facilities while at the same time providing an
excellent learning experience for the student team.
