Grants and Contracts Details
Description
Scope of work:
• Item 1: Develop and implement environmental education programming for inservice
and pre-service education majors at the University of Kentucky through
various delivery methods including field trips and retreats. The major portion of
this item is a 3-day retreat to Robinson Forest for all secondary pre-service
education majors. Activities from this retreat form a cornerstone of many of the
courses the students take the rest of the year. An additional trip to learn how to
integrate environmental education field trips into the curriculum may also be
taken, but this is dependent upon the level of funding required to accomplish the
Robinson Forest trip.
