KHIT 108, KY 55 Taylor Co. 4-8920 2+1 Project

This project will consist of the following: Background research on 2+1 concepts. Collect and review pertinent data and plans on KY 55 2+1 project. Investigate 2+1 section of KY 55 in Adair County including safety and operational performance. Discuss project with key KYTC project team members. Meet with the District 4 Project Team to discuss 2+1 philosophy, including key concepts, details and options. Plan next steps for project designers. Visit project site. Review plans and meet with project designers to review concepts and answer questions. Participate in milestone 65% review meeting with the District 4 Project Team, in order to decide layout of proposed 2 + 1 Roadway section on KY 55, KYTC Item #4-8920. Follow up with project designers.
