Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) proposes to use CatStrong Uniaxial and Triaxial Fabric (UCF and TCF) to retrofit a Reinforced Concrete (RC) bridge beam on KY 1057 over Burt T. Combs Mountain Parkway in Powell County, KY. The objective of this project is to carry out the design, carbon fiber material and resin specifications and procurement, installation supervision of specified UCF, and TCF, and perform monitoring at all stages retrofit, and carryout the reporting on the project.
