Description

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) proposes to conduct field testing and load rating of the post-tensioned KY 676 Bridge over the Kentucky River. The objective of this project is to visually inspect the bridge, identify strain gauge locations in cooperation with KYTC and STANTEC, conduct field testing, load rating, and reporting. A researcher (Dr. Peiris), two technicians and one program manager (Dr. Harik) from the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) will carry out the field testing and load rating in cooperation with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and STANTEC. KTC will coordinate, in cooperation with KYTC and STANTEC all stages of the field testing and load rating and submit the reports for the project.
