KHIT 84 : Madison County I-75 & KY 627 Pipe Inspection

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has requested that the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) provide a condition assessment of the existing drainage structures along KY 627 & I-75 for KYTC’s proposed Grade, Drain, & Surfacing project along KY 627 (Project No. JL03-076-0627-000-001, Item No. 7-8403). The design team for the proposed highway construction project intends to utilize the existing drainage facilities for the roadway widening of KY 672. However, before a commitment is made to utilize the existing drainage facilities those facilities need to be inspected to determine if they are suitable for continued use.
