The Tracy Farmer Center shall provide environmental education programming for all in-service and pre-service education majors at the University of Kentucky and develop classes that shall be eligible to be counted towards the endorsement in environmental education for elementary, middle, and secondary in-service teachers. An "endorsement" is an area of specialization which can be used as part of the teacher certification process. This represents the first statewide effort at the college level to improve the ability of teachers to teach students about our environment.
