The CYFAR PD&TA Core Competencies Key Staff will provide leadership with the development of comprehensive CYFAR C ore Competencies training and tools to promote capacity-building among Community Coaches as well as CYFAR SCP in 3-5 identified Core Competencies areas. Contracts of $60,000 in Year One ($40,000 in Years 2-4) will require the following: Activities: • Review existing CYFAR Core Competencies resources and tools to identify strengths and ways to make them more interactive. • Be a participating member of the Council for Innovation and Impact. • Work with the Strategic Leadership Team, the Advisory Group and Council for Innovation and Impact to ensure up-to-date and research based CYFAR Core Competencies tools are developed. • Work with the Strategic Leadership Team the Advisory Group and Council for Innovation and Impact to ensure accessible and evidence-based training in the key CYFAR Core Competencies areas is provided to Community Coaches, SCP community sites, and the CYFAR Initiative at large. This would include trainings on the uses of the CYFAR Core Competencies (writing job descriptions for the front line workers, interviewing candidates, hiring, coaching frontline workers, evaluating, and developing professional development strategies) and trainings on topics relevant to the various CYFAR Core Competencies. Develop and present interactive and online learning opportunities (modules, online trainings etc.). It is anticipated that there will be content for 3-5 core competencies modules in Year One, and 2-3 supplemental modules in each following year. • Coordinate with the Strategic Leadership Team in order to implement fully interactive learning modules and opportunities (including video clips, chat features, etc.) • The above trainings will be based on identified needs determined through the Strategic Leadership Team, the Advisory Group and Council for Innovation and Impact. • Participate in monthly conference calls with the Strategic Leadership Team • The PI will be a member of the Council for Innovation and Impact and will participate in one annual face-to-face meeting each year with one additional one the first year. • Submit quarterly reports to the Strategic Leadership Team documenting outputs and activities
