Language Access Provisions in State Pharmacy Practice Acts and Relevant Resources: Part 1 State Pharmacy Practice Act

1] To survey and analyze the pharmacy practice acts of all fifty states to determine the extent to which they currently address issues related to compliance with the relevant provisions of the Civil Rights Act, especially with regard to issues of language access. 2] To review and analyze the regulations adopted by the fifty boards of pharmacy related to patient consultation to assess their interplay with language access Issues. 3] To compile a state-by-state summary of key provisions of the relevant statutes and regulations, assessing implications for future revisions of these laws to be accompanied by an appendix-chart that lists relevant provisions from each state that supports or limits translation/interpretation.
