Phase I of “Living Landscapes” was a weeklong festival of international arts and culture present on the University of Kentucky’s campus in September 2013. It brought 32 faculty and students from IMU and seven delegates from the inner Mongolia Autonomous Region International Culture Association to Kentucky to participate in collaborative events that explored both Easter and Western cultural themes, from throat singing, from bowl dances to musical theatre dance. This project is Phase II of this exchange, UK will send a select delegation of 10 students and 3 faculty from UK College of Fine Arts to Inner Mongolia in October 2015 to engage in interdisciplinary, collaborative, cross cultural workshops, master classes, lectures, demonstrations, concerts, and exhibitions.
