Logan County: KY 79 Bridge Replacement over Motts Lick Creek; Phase I Archaeological Survey; Item #:3-1068

This proposal has been prepared in response to a request from staff of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) for a proposal and cost estimate for conducting a Phase I archaeological survey of areas that will be impacted by proposed relocation of KY 79 and replacement of the KY 79 bridge over Motts Lick Creek in Logan County, Kentucky. The work that will be conducted is intended to provide an inventory of all cultural resources within the project area and to provide an initial evaluation each resource’s potential eligibility for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The work will also include evaluation of the documentary and cartographic sources pertaining to the project area and its vicinity.
