Description
The Grantee will provide Louisville's small businesses and nascent entrepreneurs with technical assistance and training in the form of direct, one-on-one consulting services in the area of finance, marketing, management, construction, human resources, business plans and international trade ("Direct Client Services"). In addition, the Grantee will provide local businesses with services that result in federal certifications, such as 8(a), HUBZone and Small Disadvantaged Business. The Grantee will assist entrepreneurs and business owners to identify federal contract opportunities and assist local businesses in submitting bids to local, state, and federal agencies.
Existing businesses as well as nascent entrepreneurs need capital and the Grantee will provide assistance in securing both debt and equity capital through business planning, loan packaging, and lender and angel investor introductions.
The Grantee will provide an extensive calendar of training seminars, workshops and events on a wide variety of subjects such as business planning, financials for business, human resources, Quickbooks, marketing and SEO optimization. The Grantee has developed industry specific content to meet local trends such as workshops on food trucks, developing food trucks and restaurant management.
