Description
Dr. Morris willbe involved in the quantitation and structural characterization of LPA
biological samples and invetigations of the role of lipid phosphate phosphatases (LPPs)
in LPA-mediated IL-8 secretion and lung inflammation. Dr Morris willcontribute vectors
for the expression of LPP and PLD enzymes in lung epithelial cells. Dr. Morris has
extensive experience in studies of these enzymes. His expertise in PLD and its role in
cell function will strengthenthe proposedexperimentson LPA-mediatedPLD activation
and IL-8 secretion.
