Description

The Louisville Water Company is exploring the feasibility of constructing a new Water Education/Innovation Center at its historic riverside facility along the Ohio River in Louisville, KY. Graduate students from the College of Design who participated in a studio in the spring 2012 semester to conceptualize site plans and building designs, will work during the summer to further develop three of the studio designs that were selected by the Louisville Water Company staff. Deliverables will include a scale model of 2 designs, animation of 3 designs, a brochure for each of the 3 designs, 1 booklet depicting all 10 designs prepared by the students, and 1 booklet depicting the 3 chosen designs. The Louisville Water Company will use the deliverables to promote interest in constructing the Water Education Center.
