Description

This proposal has been prepared in response to a request from staff of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) for a proposal/scope of services and cost estimate for conducting a Phase I archaeological survey in advance of a proposed changes to the interchange of Interstates 24 and the Julian Carroll Purchase Parkway (future I-69) in Marshall County, Kentucky. The work that will be conducted is intended to provide an inventory of all archaeological resources within the project area and to provide an evaluation each resource’s potential eligibility for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The work will also include evaluation of the documentary and cartographic sources pertaining to the project area and its vicinity.
