Description
This task is to process 1000 to 10000 mine map documents according to the record
structure of the MINE MAP INFORMATION SYSTEM (MMIS) of the KDMM. These records shall be
created or corrected from mine maps, map cards, or the transmittal letters that accompany the map document,
which involve interpretation and investigative analysis. The information shall be entered into the database
system utilizing facilities at the Mine Map Information Center of the Kentucky Department of Mines &
Minerals, site of the Mine Map Program. Other duties detailed below.
