Molecular Analysis of Xenobiotic Response in the Colorado Potato Beetle

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Identification of plant chemical induced detoxification enzymes and mechanisms involved in chemical induced production of detoxification enzymes will help in developing better management strategies not only for CPB (Colorado potato beetle) but also for other insect pests. The results from the proposed research have potential for long-range improvement and sustainability of U.S. agriculture and food systems.
