Description
The Kentucky Highway Investigative Task (KHIT) shall be funded to monitor the seeding
operations in Murray Co. on a new highway being built in Western Kentucky. The proposal
includes: I) field investigations/analyses conducted by Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
personnel, 2) monitoring of seeding operations in Murray County undertaken by Kentucky
Transportation Cabinet, and 3) oversight by KTC and Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
researchers in monitoring all investigative work, compiling data, interfacing with KYTC officials
and provide assistance in deriving any necessary remedial actions.
