Description

Dr. Endean and his research coordinator will be assisting in the collection of information from general surgery residents and their supervising surgeons. Dr. Endean and his coordinator will: Liaison between the University of Kentucky and Dr. Fryer at Northwestern University Coordinate institutional training sessions Track training & consent compliance for faculty and residents Create and manage resident and faculty accounts on SIMPL Provide resident, attending and program reports to the Program Director using the SIMPL reporting feature Assist with institutional IRB approval process Provide ongoing communication & instructions to participating faculty and residents regarding use of SIMPL and report out any technical or other problems to central coordinator Audit evaluation data on a monthly basis to ensure proper usage Document any deviations from study protocol or problems with implementation Participate in monthly SIMPL user advisory group calls to provide feedback about feature requests and future developments This work will last approximately one academic year.
