Multiscale Models of Proprioceptive Cncoding to Reveal Mechanisms of Impaired Sensorimotor Control

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Dr. Campbell will support Aim 1 of this R01 project with computer modeling of muscle sarcomeres. He will work with Dr. Ting to integrate his MyoSim model of dynamically coupled myofilaments into system-level frameworks investigating proprioceptive encoding in sensorimotor disorders. The software will simulate both intrafusal and extrafusal muscle fibers. Code will by documented, version-controlled, and provided in MATLAB and/or Python languages.
