Description

This project seeks to advance Kentucky's efforts to become a leader in this field by supporting students working in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Labratory at the University of Kentucky. The funds requested in this proposal will be used to provide materials and hourly wages for students working in the lab who will: (i) construct new UAVs for conducting atmospheric turbulence research, (ii) train new students in UAV fabrication and autonomous flight control, and (iii) prepare and conduct a demonstration autonomously streaming aerial imagery to demonstrate the UAV lab's capabilities for state dignitaries interested in exploring the UAV's potential for precision agriculture.
