Description

Abstract The proposed research aims to formally report analyses completed thus far by the researchers on the NCACP dataset and to also perform and document additional analysis as directed by NCCER. Objectives and corresponding deliverables include: 1. Quantify demographic characteristics of individuals completing the NCACP certification exams including distributions by geographic regions, gender, ethnicity, curriculum, construction trade, work experience and other characteristics as supported by the NCACP dataset; 2. Identify how demographic characteristics impact the performance on the NCACP certification results; and 3. Identify demographic trends through the NCACP dataset that potentially may impact the availability of future construction craft workers. 4. Quantify statistical trends relating to craft skills deficiencies with in and across craft areas
