Description

This project supports the evaluation of silviculture prescriptions for improving forest health including improving the ability of forests to withstand gypsy moth infestation, harvest potential fuels, and determine efficiencies associated with biomass removals for upland hardwood forests. Specifically the funds will be used to support the pre-sampling of the study and assess the post harvest stand conditions. This will include the purchase of sampling supplies, wages associated with data entry, and wages and computer processing associated with post-harvest assessment.
