Description

The objective of the proposed research is to develop novel nanodevices by integrating intelligent polymer networks with magnetic nanoparticles. Innovative processes are proposed and will be developed that will enable the controlled polymerization of a wide variety of intelligent polymer networks directly on the surface of magnetic nanoparticles. These nanoscale devices have potential application in sensing, separations, therapeutics, and other areas.
