New Quaternary Geologic Mapping in Northern Kentucky

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

This revision is for an award of $158,625 to support new surficial geologic mapping in Kentucky, in areas which have been identified by the Kentucky Geologic State Mapping Advisory Committee as priority areas that need more detailed surficial geologic mapping to meet societal needs. This proposal includes a one-year project intended to support the long-range goals identified by the SGMAC. For 2016-17, we are proposing to complete new surficial geologic maps for the Butler, DeMossville, Verona, and Walton 7.5-minute quadrangles in northern Kentucky.
