OBJECTIVE:
To use novel genetic techniques to complement and extend breeding of soybeans for improved
oil quality while maintaining high yield and high protein
APPROACH:
Apply a chimeric oligonucleotide (CO) strategy to improve soybean oil quality. Develop a
selection system for efficient application of the new CO-based precision genetics improvement
system for soybeans.
