Description
A weld flaw (crack) is present on the upper chord of the East truss of the I-65 (John F. Kennedy) Bridge over the Ohio River
at Louisville. KYTC officials are concerned about the potential impact of that flaw on the structural integrity of the bridge.
Nondestructive evaluation (NDE) is needed to assess the potential problems that could be posed by the flaw
and determine the need and actions to address any potential problems.
