Description
Together, the Kentucky DeafBlind Project (KDBP), the University of Kentucky (UK)
Visual Impairment Program, Kentucky Office for the Blind, and Kentucky Special Parents
Network (KYSPIN) will offer a summer week long program titled: Expanded Core Curriculum
Foundation to Transition. The purpose of this of this collaboration is to insure positive transition
outcomes for young adults on the Kentucky DeafBlind Census. This week-long program is
intended for students on the KDBP who are fourteen years of age or older. The program will
focus on Expanded Core Curriculum skills needed for successful transition from school to
employment.
