Grants and Contracts Details

Description

As part of the overall public involvement strategy, and at the request of the KyTC, the University of Kentucky Transportation Center (UKTC) proposes to provide targeted public involvement support to several of the contractors on the project. These contractors include, but are not necessarily limited to: Lochner and Associates; Michael Baker Associates; and Parsons Brinckerhoff. This support will be in the general form of helping design and deliver specific portions of the public involvement process, so as to provide useful and timely information to the respective design teams, and also to bolster the overall quality of the involvement on the part of the various advisory panels that are designed into the strategy. This will entail working closely with the design and public involvement specialists of the various contractors to ensure that UKTC can provide the most efficient and useful support possible. The employment ofUKTC's Structured Public Involvement protocol is anticipated as a part of this overall approach.
