OHS - Traffic Records Strategic Plan (TRSP)

The Kentucky Transportation Center is currently assisting each traffic records database in the development of an implementation plan for its 2018-21 Traffic Records Strategic Plan. The TRSP was written prior to the recent NHTSA traffic records assessment that produced improvement recommendations for each database. By the end of this year, the implementation plan will have incorporated those recommendations into the metrics and goals of the TRSP and created a set of projects and timetables to meet the goals. This project will aid the databases in meeting the goals. The Kentucky Transportation Center staff will: 1. Continue the annual collection of data for each of the performance metrics from the appropriate liaison. 2 Monitor and document progress toward fulfilling the projects and timetables in the implementation plan. 3. Facilitate discussions with database liaisons to resolve any problems that may arise toward meeting the requirements of the implementation plan. 4. Document any necessary changes in the goals of the implementation plan or reasons for delays in meeting the goals and/or completing the projects. 5. Submit a progress report that assesses progress toward meeting the goals in the implementation plan.
