Abstract OHS, SHSP 2025-29 Completion and Implementation This project will see through to the completion of Kentucky’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) update for the years 2025-29 and follow with the plan’s implementation. Completion of the plan will include final edits to the text, figures, and graphic design. The final product will be a fully compliant SHSP update that will support KYTC’s mission to reduce fatalities and serious injuries on Kentucky highways. Implementation of the plan will include the organization and facilitation of biannual meetings where Emphasis Area leaders can provide updates and share progress toward implementing highway safety improvements. It will also include ongoing monitoring and evaluation of safety performance data as it becomes available.
