Fidelity Evaluation of Strategy Implementation
Christian County Public Schools and Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will be working in a partnership with the University of Kentucky’s research and education center and an outside evaluator in the evaluation of the Parent Engagement model and the Reading Intervention model.
All data collected for the purpose of this project will be disaggregated in terms of military-connected students and districts, as well as aggregated for project results.
Christian County Public Schools and Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will utilize a number of data points when evaluating the parent engagement model to include engagement surveys from the PTA organization, the TELL Survey, participation logs, online usage logs, and feedback forums (such as the Focus Groups). In addition student academic achievement and behavior data will be utilized.
Christian County Public Schools and Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will purchase and use research-based programs to support the Reading Intervention Programs, work influenced by Response to Intervention (RtI) Literacy and Positive Behavioral Intervention System. Professional development for the programs will be purchased using grant funds, provided by district staff and monitored on an on-going basis for the fidelity of the implementation. The project design will include monthly review meetings lead by the project director from each district with key building individuals (building administrators, academic/behavioral coaches and consulting teachers) on monitoring and making revisions for a successful implementation.
Quarterly meetings will be conducted with the programs third-party/external evaluator and the program evaluation team. The evaluation team will include the project director, guidance counselor, instructional behavioral/academic coaches, University of KY evaluator, and the third-party/external evaluator. The team will collaborate together on the review of all data and reporting requirements.
