Description
The Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) Week is a collaborative effort between the Kentucky Deaf Blind Project (KDBP), University of Kentucky’s Teacher Preparation Program in Visual Impairments (TPPVI), Eastern Kentucky University's Teacher Preparation Program for Deaf/HH, and Office for the Blind (OFB).
Transition age students who are deafblind from across the state of Kentucky come together to explore and work on ECC skills and explore and prepare for work in the community.
The term expanded core curriculum (ECC) is used to define concepts and skills that often require specialized instruction with students who are blind and/or visually impaired.
