Description

The University of Kentucky Communication Disorders Enterprise Clinic (UKCDC) is an inpatient/outpatient clinic serving 300 children with communication deficits each year. This project will provide the needed equipment and tools so the clinic's speech-language pathologists (SLP) can conduct Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Assessments for children with complex communication needs, match each child with an appropriate device, and work with each family's insurance (Medicaid or private pay) to obtain the device for use in the home.
