Part Time Instructor of Korean Language

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

We expect the fall 2020 and spring 2021 academic year will bring in many students interested in learning Korean and further publicize our commitment to Korean language and culture studies on campus and in the community. We hope by establishing Korean language course offerings at two levels for the first three years, we can continue building up our Korean language and culture programs by expanding Korean language offerings to cover a full sequence of four years, and adding relevant culture courses to deepen students’ understanding of Korean history, literature, music, popular culture, politics, economics, diplomacy, etc., so as to be able to offer a minor and a major in MCL-Korean (Modern and Classical Languages with a focus on Korean) and FLIE-Korean (Foreign Languages and International Economics with a focus on Korean) in the future.
