Description

A. Overview The major aims of the Parenting Assessment Support and Training Program (P.A.S.T.) are to promote safety~permanence~ and well-being for both the child and family served. This program proposes to focus on serving the population of families that have been classified by the Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) as Families In Need of Assessments (FINSA) and are directed toward Track ill of the Multiple Response "Level of Risk Matrix" (see Appendix E). B. Mission Statement The P.A.S.T. Program will increase parents~ confidence~ knowledge and competence in their parenting performance in order to increase the safety and stability of their family unit by engaging the parent in actively strengthening existing skills and abilities.
