Description

This proposal has been prepared in response to a request from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Division of Environmental Analysis for a scope of work and cost estimate for conducting a Phase I archaeological survey of tracts affected by a proposed bridge replacement on County Road (CR) 1113A over Big Creek in Clay County, Kentucky. The work that will be conducted is intended to provide an inventory of all archaeological resources within the project area and to provide an evaluation of each resource’s potential eligibility for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The work will also include evaluation of the documentary and cartographic sources pertaining to the project area and its vicinity.
