Description
The Kentucky Administrative Office of the courts (AOC), along with Pike Country Circuit Drug Court (PCCDC) (under the jurisdiction of the AOC), Mountain comprehensive Care Center (MCCC) and the University of Kentucky Evaluation Center received $975,000 in SAMHSA funds to better serve adult drug court and nonviolent offenders through expanded services for three years ending in 9/29/2014. The AOC appealed to SAMHSA to receive a no cost extension for 9/1/2014- 9/29/2015 to enable the Evaluation Center to examine the screening and referral process, quarterly reviews of key performance measures (projected versus actual capacity), evaluation of client community reintegration to determine areas of improvement and sustainability and provide a summative report of the grant period.
